The work
A plan is only useful if it survives contact with Tuesday.
I work in the space between the idea and the day-to-day reality: where strategy becomes a process, a message, a website, a tool, or a decision someone can confidently make.
The form changes. The job stays the same: understand the whole system, make the complicated parts clearer, and build something people will still use after the meeting ends.

What I do
People call me when something they’re responsible for has outgrown the way they’ve been doing it.
The engagements look different. The phone call is usually the same.
“What happens when the person who knows how all of this works isn’t here?”
You’ve built something real on one person’s knowledge, and it can’t stay there. We turn what they know into a system the rest of the team can run without them, and without me.
“Who actually runs this? We can’t hire anyone.”
You’re a three-person team doing a ten-person job. I run the functions that need running, so you see a roster, a report, a post that went out, instead of another system to maintain.
“How do we explain this so people trust it?”
Some work is complicated, publicly funded, or publicly consequential, and trust depends on people actually understanding it. We build the reporting, the explainers, and the education that make it legible. Every number gets checked before it ships.
“Can you run the whole digital side between now and election day?”
Campaigns are work with a deadline and a verdict. A candidate race, a ballot question, a public fight. We run the digital operation, including voter data, mail, ads, and texting, and the compliance that keeps all of it clean.
“Why can’t anyone find us?”
The work is real. The footprint isn’t. We stand up the whole thing, from domain and email to site, giving, and analytics, or fix why searches and AI assistants get you wrong. You own every piece when we’re done.
Most projects are fixed-fee, quoted before we start. Ongoing operations work is a monthly retainer.
I take a small number of engagements at a time, and you’ll hear back within a day.

Built and maintained the public-facing systems that help a county trust explain complicated conservation work clearly, report its results, and keep citizens connected to the mission.
Website operations, a weekly public-education email series, annual reporting, and data presentation.

Helped a beloved regional festival move from heroic effort toward a repeatable operating model without sanding away the character that made it matter.

Union Community Foundation
Union County, SC · live in two months
Gave a 20-year-old county foundation a home online: its own domain, email for its director, and a website that explains its funds, its grants, and how to apply.
Domain and DNS, nonprofit email through Google Workspace, website with a grants section, search and analytics setup, and the logo carried across the site.
Public tools
Public information should be easier to use.
I publish open-source servers that let researchers, journalists, campaigns, and curious citizens query government records from their own AI assistant. They are also a working demonstration of how I approach private data and AI projects.

My work crosses consulting, technology, communications, and civic life. The throughline is a fascination with how people, places, and institutions hold together.
I run ASR Enterprises, work as a senior solutions consultant at ScopeStack, and have helped lead Taylors TownSquare since 2012. I live in Taylors with my wife, Jen, and our two children.
